Wigtownshire Women’s Aid

Women’s Aid groups are run by women for women, children and young people who are affected by domestic abuse from Partners/husbands, Ex-partners or Other family members

At Wigtownshire Women’s Aid we strive to ensure that we treat all service users, staff and volunteers with respect and provide a positive and safe space to access services and work in. We are aware that there may be additional barriers to accessing support for people who identify as having a protected characteristic. These are:

Age
Disability
Religion and Belief
Gender
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual

Transgender Identity
Race
Pregnancy and Maternity
Marriage and Civil Partnership Status
