Refuge Support Worker – Out of Hours

Weekday evenings 3:30pm-9:30pm & weekends 11am-5pm working on a rational shift pattern.

Part Time: 24 hours per week. Fixed term to August 2024

Location: Based in Stranraer, covering Wigtownshire.

Salary: FTE £26816 (£18388 for 24 hours)

Closing Date: 5^th January 2024, Interviews to be held 15^th January 2024.

Wigtownshire Women’s Aid provides refuge accommodation, information and support to women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.

We have a vacancy for a refuge support worker within the Out of Hours team. You will work using a multi-agency, trauma informed approach and your case load will include individual and group work support.

Candidates will be subject to PVG and reference checks. Travel across Wigtownshire is required and therefore a full driving licence and constant access to a car is essential.
